This is directed at Sonya who I often harassed in the 3 years prior to July.

Or any CS rep can sign the reply "Sonya". How would I ever know?

My quandry at that time was that I had amassed for those years a substantial customer base and what I wanted to do was use Customer Manager to handle those 25,000+ customers and direct them to my Vendio store. I wanted to experiment with some HTML e-mail sales programs and tweek until I got something copasetic with Vendio.

When CM first came out, there was a 30 day trial for which I enrolled but never used. At that time I was a gold powerseller working alone and just couldn't find the time. When I stopped with eBay, I decided to exploit my customer base and wrote explaining that I had not actually used the trial period. After a few e-mails, Sonya said that when I got the Vendio store in order to let her know and she would allow me the trial period.

I live in Florida and just after these e-mail exchanges, my home was wiped out by two of the four hurricanes (it was a strong house so it took two storms to do it.) And I had a reoccurrence of cancer (how's that for a heart-tugger.)

Anyway, I'm back, Sonya, and I wanted to know if the 30 day trial you offered was still available. Also, since I will be doing a minimum of auctions, would the new Inventory SMIE make sense for essentially an e-mail order business directing customers to the Vendio store, i.e. most of my creating will be Vendio store offerings?

Hello Fred,

No worries, we can always track down previous communications if your email address hasnt changed and did come across the note about extending the two week trial at a later date.

Your Customer Manager trial is now setup and ready for use. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Christopher

Thank you.

Another question I had in the posting was that since I will be doing a minimum of auctions, would the new Inventory SMIE make sense for essentially an e-mail order business directing customers to the Vendio store, i.e. most of my creating will be Vendio store offerings?

Hello,

The new Inventory Edition would make sense if you had a lot of quantities you want to track in inventory. Do you still do a lot of single item selling? I remember in the past, you sold a lot of unique DVDs. If you are still doing this you might want to stick with your current set up. You will still be able to manage your store items easily in Sales Manager Merchandising Edition.

By the way, I'm the only Sonya here. No one signs my name but me, unless something is going on that I don't know about.

Regards,

Sonya

Thank you, Sonya.

I should have remembered that nothing could happen around there without you knowing.
