When composing email in HTML mode hitting the enter key causes internet explorer to error & close losing the composed email.
I tested this again under the same conditions and could not replicate. You might want to try clearing your cache, that might help to resolve the conflict with your browser.
To further look into the issue that you are encountering, please let us know:
- what Windows version you using
- what is the exact Internet Explorer Version number listed under the menu entry Help > About Internet Explorer. If possible, please copy here both the Version string, and the Update Versions string.
Thanks for the information; we are looking into any issue related to the 2 patches from Microsoft.
Please let us know also, if possible, what type of Windows you are using.

Sorry, I know you asked once before. Just for clarification this only happens when I hit the enter or delete key, but not every time I do. It is always after typing the text of my message & adjusting the space between the text & the signature.

Hi. I am still a novice at using html. I see the warnings frequently that customers computers may not be equipped to receive email in html, but I don't understand what that means. Does that mean they don't get the email at all, or just that the links are inactive, or do they get html gobbledygook instead of a readable email? I realize everyone's computer defaults are different, but what in general do the html emails look like to them if one comes in? Thanks.

Hello passedtothepresent,
If your customer's email client is not HTML compatible, they will likely receive the email with the HTML code visible. Most email clients are HTML compatible, but there are some that are not, unfortunately.
