I take this web site survey everyday, and follow the results. An example of taking a minute to think, before acting, came up yesterday. Here is the survey question, and results:
Survey for December 28, 2000 A family that surfs together...
Do you currently have access to a computer at home? 96% Yes 3% No 0% No answer
Bearing in mind, this IS a computer survey. What ratio did they expect to see? Did they expect accuracy? Those who don't have a PC at home, or access at work, how do they answer 'No'? I guess the 3% are on the computer at work? Or, there are a lot of workers lying about where they are, when on the computer? Or, they are at work, and also have a computer at home.
I know 96% of the United States homes, do not contain a home PC, yet. Factoring in this is the WWW, and answers from world wide participation. The percentages should be much, much lower, on the 'yes' answer. Not accurate results by any stretch of the imagination. Just curiously an interesting survey question. As to the rational of it, in the first place?
You can see by this post, I have some free time this morning.

Maybe it's like an illiteracy survey.
