Yahoo has 482,553 listings under sports cards.
I predict that on Feb 10 when all the automatic
relistings have expired there will be less than
50,000 listings. And its very likely that is a
gross over estimate. Look at the Featured Auctions
at 10 cents per day. Just guessing, but I would
estimate that the featured auctions are 1% to 3%
of total listings. Yahoo should consider themselves
lucky if they retain 5% to 10% of the current listings.

Have to agree with you here, I think they will lose even more than that. I actually like buying inexpensive cards on Yahoo, for the price of a SASE. How can a seller place an auction that may sell for $1, if they have to pay a fee, and most of the cards they list end without bids. I've recently been thinking of trying Yahoo as a seller, but no way will I try it now! If they are smart, they will retract and only charge if the auction ends with a bid
