I just found out this morning about the new listing fees on Yahoo.Are they serious? If I'm going to pay a listing fee on an item I'm going to pay it on the site that has the most visibility, that site is NOT Yahoo.It seems to me they are cutting their nose off to spite their face here.They should just block whatever items they have a problem with and leave the rest alone.Ive been doing auctions on Yahoo since mid-'99 and only just in the last six months or so have I really started to see traffic on the site that was even remotely comparable to E-bay.Many people still dont even know about Yahoo auctions to this day.Nobody who has any real knowledge about online auctions is going to waste their time selling on Yahoo if they have to pay a fee.Theres just not enough buyers browsing the site to justify it.Unfortunately now most of the biz has to go back on e-bay which is an even worse crime.Oh well I had a good run while it lasted.Hasta la vista people.
