Someone please help. I posted some protest auctions encouraging people to speak up. I asked earlier for help in where to send them for comments to Yahoo. Now they are writing questions to my auctions and I need to know where to send them. Please help!!!!! And don't you dare laugh at ME!!!!!!

You should have had a "plan" ready to go.

But all is not lost.

Open your accounts at one or more free sites, then get back to your buyers with your IDs.

I've opened accounts at both AuXP and ePier. Also considering Lycos.

GOOD FOR YOU - You are taking action - that is great!! Congratulations

I would think sending them to:

[email protected]

would work.....

I am reading this as you want to give them an email address with which to contact Yahoo with their concerns.

If I am right, it won't do any good however, I found an email address in Yahoo's announce of listing fees email :

[email protected]

You might think about going back in to your auctions and modifying them to say something like:

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS YOUR OPINION OR DISPLEASURE CONCERNING THESE CHANGES AT YAHOO PLEASE ADDRESS YOUR E-MAIL TO: [email protected]

Thanks for the support. I appreciate that email and figure that's the best thing. I was trying to describe how to get to contact us through several different pages but don't want people to just up and quit. You can see the protest auctions at under user IDs leathernlace4mom and tackettribe I posted them an hour or so ago and have gotten three questions regarding this already. I would encourage more people to do this!!!!!

jwpc - thanks again for a great thought. My auction email is quite active. I truly didn't think that I would get as many hits or as many concerned people as seem to be out there. It started out to be my way of showing my displeasure and making a statement. I don't imagine that Yahoo will change their minds or policies but after 2 years and 518 feedback (over 1000 feedback but lots of repeat customers) and a lot of hard work I am not going to lay down and cry DEAD without letting them know that I am unhappy. They may never read the emails but clogging up their box with tons of them can't hurt. The people on here have been great (for the most part) and it has been nice getting to know those I have worked side by side with for those two years.

forshoppin - I loved your, "And don't you dare laugh at ME!" Keep up the good work. It looks like you are definitely on the right track. I'll say this in Yahoo's defense, I bet those protest auctions wouldn't last long on eBay.

Now, I might be in LaLa Land, but unless Yahoo's objective is to totally get rid of their auction site, I think they will rethink the listing fees and come around with another solution. Thirty days from January 10, I would venture to guess there will be a 75% or more drop in listings. If that doesn't have an impact on this decision, I don't know what will. I'm even thinking today's chat may involve them presenting changes to the initial announcement concerning listing fees.

Well, it's been cold in WI, maybe my brain is just a tad frozen, but that's my 2 cents worth.

Thanks for the encouragement. I will be watching what Yahoo does this afternoon and over the next few weeks. I really don't want to leave but I don't like being walked all over either (or laughed at). Yahoo caught on to the listings real fast (which proves they do read the boards or have a lot of time on their hands due to lack of customer service). But I will keep trying.
