Hi,

Don't lose faith, keep posting the protests. As we know, they can't have that many people "patrolling" the auctions. I'm trying to sell my accounts!!! Good-luck,

Jazz

On double checking, all mine have been removed as well. However, I'll keep posting them....Yahoo=fascism. Do you Yahoo? Never again.

Well, well. I can sell my ID and Account but not my products for prices which I would have to charge if I were to remain in business on Yahoo. The right stuff listed in the right catagories but at high $$$$$ and they closed them. If only we could get responses to our real problems this quickly!!!!!!

Post 'em tonight during the Yahoo!Chat. I mean, really, they only have three Yahoo!Auctions employees and they'll be busy hitting the "cut-and-paste" button on chat and won't have time to delete auctions.

ROTFL.

From reading your statement, I realized I should be telling bidders to look for me on Lycos (or MSN) instead of The Fair Markent Network. Bidders and some sellers seem to be having trouble understanding that an item listed on any Fair Market Site will show up on all the sites. Just in case......if you are listing your items with MSN, they charge final value fees. You can avoid these fees if you list through Lycos. Spreland

Hi,

Well they're pretty quick at Yahoo! today. All protest auctions will be shut down, followed with a warning email, as seen below. Should I keep protesting....Jazz

What I am trying to figure out is which term of service I violated?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. Protest auctions violate which part of the below agreement???

You agree to not use the Service to:
a. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
b. harm minors in any way;
c. impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Yahoo official, forum leader, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
d. forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the Service;
e. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
f. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights" of any party;
g. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas (such as shopping rooms) that are designated for such purpose;
h. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
i. disrupt the normal flow of dialogue, cause a screen to "scroll" faster than other users of the Service are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in real time exchanges;
j. interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
k. intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, including, but not limited to, regulations promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, any rules of any national or other securities exchange, including, without limitation, the New York Stock Exchange, the American Stock Exchange or the NASDAQ, and any regulations having the force of law;
l. "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or
m. collect or store personal data about other users.

Maybe it's because we are affecting their STOCK OPTIONS....

What is Yahoo! Auctions?
Yahoo! Auctions is a service that promotes communications and exchanges among its users. Yahoo! Auctions has limits that you should understand. Yahoo! does not screen, review or control the listings and items being offered to users, nor does it screen, review, or control any of the people who participate.

Yahoo! does not have any involvement in the completion of your transaction, including but not limited to any refunds or warranties offered. When you use Yahoo! Auctions you and the other person are completely responsible for working out the sale and exchange. Yahoo! does not have authority to act for either the seller or bidder. Since the transaction is between users, Yahoo! does not get involved if there is a dispute between the buyer and seller. Therefore, it is important that you use care throughout your dealings with other people in Yahoo! Auctions.

Yahoo! might think that you're violating the TOS that deals with posting spam......

Don't see how, these auctions of mine,were good auctions I had posted for a week already, then went in canceled them, rewrote the item discription and re-listed them at the same price, or at a higher price to reflect my new added expenses I would have to pass on the my potental buyers.

Yahoo deleted both of my protest auctions too - and one had a $100,300,000. bid

BTW, I am 'Reinbeaux' on Yahoo and I will not be listing any more auctions. Sometimes it takes several tries to sell my items and some of them I don't have that much margin for profit. Both of the Rookwood vases I have ending tonight- one I paid $155. for and the other I paid $165. for - both have reserves of $175. and this is the second listing for both (featuring them cost $2.50 each time) so just because I have some big sales does not mean I am making a big profit - especially if I have to list them a third time.

I haven't decided where I will be listing - definitely not eGREED or Y!GREED

I opened an account with edeal.com --- I am looking into half.com, oldandsold.com (I haven't checked - I think they are just art pottery - which I do sell quite a bit of), auxpal, and bidpay.com

I have sold quite a bit from my web page - thanks to always linking to it with every auction listing (on both eGREED and Y!GREED)

If I can get edeal to work, I think I would prefer that (I opened a BtoC account, so I will be paying them a FVF- which I don't mind at all)

I tried amazon.com --- zShops and auctions. I had high hopes for them especially when my first zShop (listed within 12 hours after they announced zShops) sold for $250. within six hours - but after that, I just about starved.

I will be checking into both auctionaddict and lowestbids.com - thanks for reminding me of them. Right now, I'm searching for a new auction home. The stab in the back by Yahoo was a real shock.
