I am following some of the numbers of listings on certain catagories on YAHOO. Today I saw 1,000 auctions fall from one.

Is anyone else watching to see how this plays out thru the catagories???

LOL!! Your post cracked me up watafind!

No, I haven't even been to Yahoo in days. The last time an item of mine sold on Yahoo was New Year's Day.

I wasn't planning to stop listing on Yahoo, but I'm feeling a lot of uncertainty. If my items are not selling now, what's the point? On the other hand, I refuse to throw myself entirely upon Ebay's mercy. I feel as though I'm in a lose-lose situation. I'm thinking it is time to go with my initial idea to GET OUT of auctions completely. Are you going to try to talk me out of that again?

Sorry to get off topic on the very first response to your thread watafind!!

Watching the numbers drop is kind of like watching their stock drop. Wonder if the two might be connected?

The collectible radios category usually has over 24 pages (1200 items) and there is now 14 pages (641 items) --- although this is the first time I have checked the totals in several weeks.

The featured collectible radios would be about twice as many- except I did not list any radios (or anything else) after the fees were announced.

The categories I list in haven't changed. If anything the listings have increased slightly.

I've become a posting fool on Yahoo with the 10th drop dead date. Right now I have more up on Yahoo than I ever have had on any auction site, and still posting. I intend to sell as much for free posting as I can before the 10th, then run like the devil to eBah!!!

What Rebelguns said-list like crazy til the 10th, and state in your listing that you are moving to another site, and why!

Been doing that with my high hit items. Listing them with a blurb about Yahoos charges, etc and where I am headed (listing two or three likely sites) It sure can't hurt.
