I liked the looks of pootah and snaprat - but the traffic is not there. I posted a question on pootah so I will see how they answer (if they answer) I think it was auxpal.com that said payment was by paypal only??? so that rules them out for me (for reasons I won't discuss- I will never use paypal)

lowestbids.com has a huge banner (much too big) and it says 'free listings forever' but when you click on the info about being a seller, they say they charge a listing fee.

auctionaddict looked okay - but there is too much junk on the listings pages (do they REALLY have to have an American Flag next to USD on every listing on the listings pages???) I also don't like all the room taken up with icons for reserve fees- I would rather know how many bids each item has. I don't like the layout, but it looks like they may have the traffic. They really need to dump the American Flag icon since it is redundant (USD is next to each flag)

I checked out oldansold.com and it was dead. I don't see it as an option at present time.

I set up an edeal account and may try that - and possibly a few others. Any other reccomendations?

Auxpal is not payment through paypal only no more they had to change that sellers now offer all types of payment methods.

AUxpal no longer asked for your paypal userid and password to register.

it a neat looking auction site with many bids many in the beanie baby games and bookls catagorys where the highest volume of auctions are listed.

they ae nearing 100 thousands listings at this point.

I will check it out further then. They still have 'payment by paypal only' on the auction listing form - if that is not accurate, they should change it.

i used edeal last winter and sold quite a few items until they changed their format to the store, warestore is totaly free, but no traffic. auctionaddict has the traffic i sold quite a bit there, but image hosting is a pain. I'm looking at quite a few sites to see if traffic picks up, but it looks like i will go back to ebay because of the traffic.

I think, for the moment anyway, I'm gonna hitch my wagon to Lycos --- I regestered and listed a few things there already, so far so good...

I registered with SnapRat, with no problem, same with Pootah - all though I see little hope for either of them. I'm testing them "just in case."

I am running tests on AuctionAddict, SnapRat, Pootah, Lycos, BidBay and was pleased to find that my Yahoo/eBay formatted auction drops right in with no adjustments at all of the sites.

I'm testing old Amazon again too, but it is such a pain in the derrière as my eBay/Yahoo formatted auctions are too long for their limited description and I have to take time to cut all of them down.
