I just finished loading my first auction on Auxpal. No fees, easy picture loading, easy sign-up. If I can do it anyone can. They also have automatic relists. You can't set a start time for your auction though and I'm sure other problems will begin once more people get on. Oh, and I canceled my Pay Direct account at Yahoo. Yep, pulled all $4 that should bring them to their knees.

tinyheroes: Way to go! I am also listing on AuXpal and so far it's great. A few things I miss off Yahoo (like the day/time). I just noticed it is by nobidding which is a site I have been using for about 1.5 years. Well run - just not a lot of notice. That really made me start putting down roots!

I listed an item on auxpal too. I had a problem with their non-javascript form and emailed them- and they immediateley fixed it. Last night, I noticed the auction pages didn't have which time zone for the start and end time so I emailed them- I checked my auction this morning and they already added it to the auctions. I sure hope the site gets bidders- I think I would like to do business there.
Another good site (for art pottery only) is http://www.potteryauction.com/ (I sell quite a bit of pottery as well as radios)

I posted a few items there a few days and seem to remember that there were then 82,000-something items listed; today I see that 93,566 items are there right now.
Way to go!

I just posted this in another thread but AuxPal also just implemented a "Take It" price option and will be adding a Bulk Lister, Feedback importer and an about me page. I have been favorably impressed with their customer support response time.
pegasus - what's the deal on potteryauction.com? Is it just high end pottery? I have some nice old Mexican pottery for sale and emailed them about 3 days ago for some info and they've yet to respond.

molly001:
They have low end pottery too. No listing fees, no commision- easy to use site. They have a 'General Pottery' and a 'New Pottery' categories. I bid on a couple of items in the Red Wing / Rum Rill category for $10.00 and $3.50 (no reserves) I see some other low price / no reserve items listed too. I listed a piece of Rookwood and a piece of Red Wing (with reserves) and my Rookwood piece had a bid of $68.00 within 8 hours of listing it. It's worth a try- it's totally free and the site is easy to use.

I posted a couple of items there myself - so we'll see if anything comes of it.. maybe if we push enough others over, it'll turn into something...

pegasus - If you don't know this off the top of your head, please don't go look it up but I think I emailed them about Mex Pottery because I didn't find a category for it or a general? Again, I can look it up myself if you don't know.
I guess, like everybody else right now, I'm gauging some of the alternative sites by certain things - response time being one of the key factors for me.
I've heard some good words on the site though so I might give it a shot.

I will start listing on them soon once they get a bulk loader/lister, I hope it isn't some cheap system like AuctionAddict but a real lister that I can use like AMPro or Invenna.
