Hi,I still haven't received notification that my auctions (which ended last night) have closed. When I go to the auction page, I can't view the bidders email address - still says "You Are the Seller." Is this happening to anyone else?

I haven't had any problems. You can go to the main Yahoo Auctions page, then to My Auctions to view all your closed auctions. Usually if it says "you are the seller" it is still open, or it just closed and you have to refresh. When you go to the bottom of a closed auction of yours THAT HAS WINNING BIDDERS you will see the email address of the winner(s). If there were no winners it will give you the relist option. Try again, it's been working great for me.

I am EXTRAORDINARILY IMPRESSED with Yahoo! auctions of late. These guys are really making an effort. We will be shifting approximately 20% away from eBay and posting to Yahoo! AuctionUniverse also will be receiving far more postings. They too are very much interested in pleasing the sellers. As far as"End of Auction" notification-we haven't experienced any problems. Talk to you later, Howard "See you on eBay" The Rose Store, eBay user ID... rosejewelry Kindly overlook contextual errors, I use speech recognition software.

Well, still no luck getting my winning bidders email address. Luckily it's just one auction. But I'm having a lot of luck at Yahoo. I've spent so much money listing on eBay and haven't received nearly as many bids as on Yahoo. Well, hopefully my problem is an isolated one - sure sounds like it. Thanks for the quick replies.

I'm glad more people are realizing Yahoo is a great place to do more business for FREE. On one hand I want the word to spread so more people come aboard and traffic increases and on the other hand I like having much less competion in my area. I'm just amazed more sellers aren't flocking over here, but I certainly won't mind when all those bidders can't access Ebay today start checking us out over on Yahoo as an alternative. Come on over and let the bidding begin!

I'm having trouble listing. It goes all the way through the process but when I hit the submit button I get a this page not available. Can anyone tell what it is I'm doing wrong?

I've had the problem of auctions not closing out correctly before. I've found that if you go into the auction manager and tell it to close the auction early (even though it is already over) it will force the end of auction process.Yahoo does seem to get a little buggy from time to time, but so far they are doing better then ebay. I actually track all my sales, and ebay has gone from 95% of my sales in Jan to 48% in May. Yahoo is doing better for me then amazon, and works well from moving items that just don't seem to sell quickly on ebay.

Say, I just wanted to drop in and say I'd just returned to yahoo after an absence and really like the way it's going. A little bit busy on the page and I forgot my password but all things considered - it's FUN in there! I'll be back. I won the very first thing I managed to bid on! I hadn't even noticed it was ending, I was so busy racking my files for my old password. I filled out one of those Alert forms too, in case anybody lists Dorothy Sayers novels (I'm especially looking for Gaudy Night, if any bookies here....) but it brought up an intelligent book when I searched. Way to go -

karianna: Keep trying. I usually don't have problems listing but once in awhile when I try to upload a photo it says item 2 small or something crazy, but if I return in awhile, 20 min. 1/2 hour, it will eventually work again. Maybe these things happen due to an overload, I dunno, but they usually don't last long. Also try clearing your cache because if your browswer is slow loading the page it may be timing out on you. good luck!

I have had some of the problems you people have been talking about but most have cleared up just by wating a while.I do have one question that maybe knows the procedure. I have several auctions listed in my auctions file to be relisted, the problem is I don't want to relist them. Is there any to remove thoes files? Maybe it tells me how in the data some place but I over looked it. Other wise I have come over from ebay like many of you and I like what I have found.

lmiday...I checked myself, I do not see any way to remove those old auctions from the my auctions page. Now that would be a nice option for Yahoo to implement. You could always e-mail and suggest! I like Yahoo, but for the one fact, I can not get any answers to any of my questions from Yahoo support!

Well, I finally got my end of auction email and was able to email my high bidder. I wasn't able to get any answers from their customer support either - I've sent three and got a form letter back every time. But I'm really liking Yahoo because of the automatic resubmit feature. I've been able to sell everything I had up because of it! Well, off to find something else to sell...

I too, love the automatic relist feature, my biggest problem with yahoo and the reason I don't list more there, is the deadbeat bidder ratio. I'm getting about 50% deadbeats. I was hoping the requirement of a credit card number would make a difference but it hasn't. If it wasn't free I wouldn't bother at all!

If we all leave negative feedback for the deadbeat bidders, they will go away. Of course they can open new accounts, but after awhile they run out of user names hopefully. If Yahoo is reading this, it would certainly help if a requirement was at least a zipcode in the person's profile and maybe make anyone using a free email address fill in more fields.

pictures to post are not working right now for me... as far as deadbeat bidders yahoo contacted my office and stated from now on future bidders will have to register their credit card... as for the old post on your back home page ... yahoo said after a month they would delete these, but to be honest it has been months , and i have not seen any evidence of this to be true. but, yahoo i believe with in time will work on this as well...
