I'm having a heck of a time settling on one or two option sites. I don't underatand why on Excite and Lycos there is no way for you to have the items within a category relisted by closing order (time/date). They're all in a seemingly state of disarray with no closing time order to any of it.
Am I missing a link to click to realign everything by closing time on those sites???

I assume you are talking about the auto-relist. You can set the opening and closing time with the manual relist. The manual relist is so fast and easy I don't even bother with the auto relist. Just check the boxes next to the closed item(s), set the opening and closing time, click on relist and its done. You can relist 20 to 100 auctions in less than 30 seconds.

Actually, I was just talking about viewing the item lists in sequential closing order (just as a buyer would want to view them).

From the Lycos Auctions homepage I typed in "postcard" and got a list of 109 postcards that were disordered. There's a SORT BY box though and one of the choices is "Ending Soon." Now they're sorted by ending time.
To get some information on Yahoo!Auctions in the thread, they've dropped from 18,406 to 10,241 postcards listed. I can't find those 8,000-plus postcards at neither AuXPal or Lycos Auctions and am wondering where they went.
It was mentioned in another thread that some sellers are simply sitting back and watching the show for awhile before deciding on an alternative auction site.

Clearly the FairMarket bunch just threw up their auction sites without much care or concern. Guess I'm writing them off as an option.

since my free auctions on Yahoo are closing without winners I have tried many and my favorites are: auxpal, Epier and Pootah but not in that order. As was mentioned earlier, Auxpal still has a lot of problems. They need to add to their category listings, Epier looks the best so far. Pootah is very new and still going through the pains of birth! I will wait it out on all three of them. The ones I do NOT like are: Lycos, no customer service, their whole set up is awful. when emailed, there is not response but a canned or semi canned response. I was reading on another thread that half.com is having serious problems there too.
that is my two cents worth for the night!

Doesn't sound like a bad battle plan. I may have another look at two of the sites you mentioned. Already listing on Pootah and had the honor of watching all of items close without Friday. Of course, they were down for three days or so.
