I READ A ? ABOUT THAT IN ONE OF THE STRINGS YESTERDAY SO WENT LOOKING...UNDER SPAM IN YAHOO TERMS AND AGREEMENT THERE'S A PART ABOUT PUTTING LINKS IN OUR AUCTIONS TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO VISIT YOU ELSWHERE...WHAT DO THEY DO TO YOU IF YOU DO????HOW ABOUT EBAY, LYCOS, AUXPAL...I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF AUCTIONS LISTINGS WHERE LINKS ARE PUT INTO EITHER THEIR OWN WEBPAGE FOR SALES OR OTHER AUCTION SITES....DO THEY THROW YOU OFF OF THE SITE PERMANENTLY FOR DOING THAT???????

They can, they will, and they have, just ask me! Although, I think this is a loop hole they are using to cancel auctions and/or users for other reasons, which may financially benefit Yahoo. It is obvious that they aren't doing this across the board, as there are a number of small sellers who have done this from get go, and Yahoo seems to just ignore them.

Ebay allows people to link their auctions with their storefront webpage. I am not sure about Yahoo. I use Auctiva Showcase, which allows my photo gallery to show all my listings available. Unfortuanely, Auctiva, so far only supports Ebay, Yahoo and Amazon. As most of the other auction site tools do. Example: Auctionwatch,Andale.
So the question is: what is the difference if you place a link to your auctions listed elsewhere and placing a link to your web storefront?
Also after reading many of these postings, what is the SmoothSail button? And what is the difference with Ebay charging fees and Yahoo charging fees?

I have located a Yahoo!Auctions FEATURED SELLER that has a link to their own auctions that are conducted away from Yahoo!Auctions.
Yahoo!Auctions, in fact, provides its featured sellers with "special" URLs to their Yahoo!Auctions booth.

AUXPAL will let you put links in the listings to your page, other auction sites, or whatever will help you sell.

I added a link in my yahoo descriptions and when they ended yahoo stopped them from the auto relist.but wasnt kicked out.i dont care how tacky others think this tactic is i post the link in feedback now and then of my other listings.i dont think its tacky myself
