I think it will demonstrate the mass exodus from Y! AUCTIONS if more of us began posting in the More Online Auctions ... section here at AW than Yahoo Auctions .

Since under the Yahoo Auctions, I am seeing more postings about the other sites Sellers are trying and fewer that actually references our previous Yahoo Auctions dwindling listings.

Hopefully down the road, AW will be able to offer a category or two of the other auction sites (as growth in postings dictate). But this isn’t going to happen if we keep posting in Yahoo! Auction category. (Another benefit may be to reflect the need to have AW universal search include more auction sites for those who use it.)

Of course, it would become cumbersome to sort through several message boards (though one or two would be nice to see.) Even if it’s still posting in MOA section that’s fine by me! And we may help by including auction name in our title (where applicable). So how about it? Hope to see you there….

More postings in MOA!

I’m going over to post a comment about BidVille (previously AuXpal) name change now.

I agree too!!! I just wish AW would initiate a forum specifically for BidVille!

I would like to see a BidVille Board also. Even though I am still expecting to see Cindy Lou or the Grinch at any moment.

I agree, post on the relevent auction message boards, if you like the others go to their message board to give your positive oppinion of a new site. We are all watching whether we post our oppinion or not.

I use auctionwatch for researching my items I find. I just traded some old books for 4 beautiful silkscreen prints from the 1920's my favorite Art era which are signed by a local Native American Artist in my area. At least this is what I was told by the person I bartered with.

I used aol search and it brought me to german and french sites for the same last name different first. Then I used AW auction search with the same keyword and found my artist in eBay. I am sitting on a gold mine. AW gave me the info I needed to know I need to photo the prints and get an online appraisal, Where to do this? I dont know. Then I decide where I am going to sell the item. Might be online, might be elsewhere.

I am not knocking aol, it is the only service that has a free local access # for me. It is also easy to use.
