... like a dead, rotten place.
As something got burnt and is charring.
... almost like one of those indian funerals.
The atmosphere is irritating, ...lot of anger, frustration and hatred.
The interaction of irritation, anger and frustration has made us so unsocial... no respect, no modesty against each other here.
Each thread has so much of hatred not only against Yahoo... but against each other. So many criticisms of something or the other. So much loathing of each other and their opinions. So much disgust...
I call for peace in this forum. Call for Unity. May God grant peace to the soul of the dead (yahoo) and make us better people.

Get bent.
Seriously though, this seems to be the way the net-world has turned.
It was a subject of discussion at OAUA once, but I'm not sure that the root cause was every ferreted out.
The lack of tolerance toward alternate view-points is staggering.

The charring bit is especially special LOL! I want two of whatever you're having.

Well, damn, I was getting my appetite worked up for Bar-B-Q pork. You mean that odor is really the guest of honor? Well...
OK, he'll do, too, just lay the sauce on heavy, more red curry, please. I can wait for the pig.

If you can wait, I promise I'll be hateful, spiteful, critical, and obnoxious later to illustrate your point, but since I just escaped from Maximum Security, and I haven't had a good meal in years, what's that you say was for dinner?

It's more like a tornado. Lots of rumbling, things getting tossed around, some people getting hurt, but in the end we can sit back and replay our tape from the camcorder and get a kick out of watching it. Not that we like watching people get hurt, not that we like seeing damage, but the shock value keeps us entertained, just like people paying to see a horror movie to be frightened.
I don't see hate or anger as the root of it. I believe it has more to do with self preservation which causes us to defend our points of view. We do lose perspective because we get so caught up in what we're saying without stepping back and understanding what others have to say. It's a major flaw, and not acceptable behavior, and I appreciate the wake up call now and then to get us back on track.

This is child's play. We are entering an age of nuclear terror that challanges any rational discussion. Our political system is out of control. The military industrial complex is delivering armagedon in sheeps clothing (republican elephants dressed like sheep). Yes, you have a vote. No, it does not count. When I see a 90 year old man, I see myself. When I see a 5 year old boy, I see myself. To hate anyone or anything is to hate myself......I'm sorry what was the question?
