Just sold my first lot of 23 Large Royal Doulton Toby's for $1450 at Bidveille after a few days of listing. Don't want to misrepresent things, as page views are very low there and I didn't think I'd ever sell anything, but at least it holds promise. I've got these priced low to as they retail for about $2400+ for the lot. I had 12 test auctions at Amazon and the page views stunk and sold nothing, same with Yahoo classifieds and the other free or near free auctions sights. After delisting over 300+ auctions at Yahoo because of the high $1440 per month fees, I have been looking for a replacement sight. I am liquidating an estate and have many high priced, slow selling odd items to dispose of. Bidville is set up nice, has good categories (unlike yahoo) they just need to advertise and get the word out and improve on their photo reduction system. Still need to get paid, but buyer seems very reliable. Also had error bug from bidder so, bidveille needs to work out some bugs also.
TakeCare,

I have been fairly sucessful at Bidville also. I sell celebrity photos and photo mugs and use auctions as "storefronts" and to guide people to my website. I have over 40 photo sales on bidville in the last week, this includes an order of 20 photos from one customer. We have also sold 16 photo mugs on Bidville in the last week. I currently listing 400 photo mugs on Yahoo and selling more items than bidville, but I am very pleased with bidville response so far.Their customer service is wonderful, they have bulk loaded approx 1800 items for me including transferring items from other auction sites. KEEP SUPPORTING BIDVILLE FOLKS !!!!!

Congrats! Your items sound worth a look. I sell mostly small stuff, audio, video, books etc. and I moved a lot of my auctions to Bidville from Yahoo, as well as 5 or 6 other sites. It took about two weeks but now the sales there are the same as I was getting on Yahoo. I am very pleased and informing regular customers where they can find the 'good stuff', my auctions and all the others that have found a new 'home.'
