granee .. good advice!
It's just that I think these folks have some great talent at doing the numbers thing, and I believe that myself any many other forum participants would be more interested in numbers related to the new sites. For example, how is BidVille doing in bids vs listings?
Perhaps they should be using their talent for useful info instead of repeating ad infinitum what we already know ...
toyranch asks: How can you justify your fees given the amount of traffic you have?
y_auctions_guest: We're priced lower than our competition and ultimately we're passing on as much of the margins as we can.
y_auctions_guest: We are committed to driving people from all over the Yahoo! network to Yahoo! Auctions.

Hi dimview ...
No, I didn't miss it
My point is, I don't think anyone else did either.
I think it's safe to say that we all know that Yahoooo has committed suicide. I think we should let them rest in peace. Everytime you guys post a new set of numbers, the Yahoooo forum perks up to respond. If you truly want to see Yahooooo dead and gone, one of the first steps would be to allow this forum to die instead of resurrecting it everyday.

Who here WANTS to "see Yahooooo dead and gone"??????????????
I would love nothing MORE than to see YaWho **succeed royally**, with high, high, high levels of pageviews, bidding, and prices realized. That would mean I could sell well there and could AFFORD to pay their listing fees for auctions.
But there's no sign that it's going to happen. My two "hottest item" listings close tonight with one lousy bid between them (out of 142 pageviews between them). It appears that the only way to get bids on the "new, improved, quality YaWho" is to start auctions at $1.00 with no reserve and take your chances on losing your shirt.

Kinda like the O.J. Simpson police chase, Yahoo!Auctions is in a slow-motion decline.
In the ten categories that I follow, there were a total of 35,755 listings on February 20, declining to 34,756 listings on February 27, for a loss of -2.8% on the week.
