When a question is asked and not answered on a Yahoooooo listing, who sees the question?

There is an item I am interested in bidding on and I am trying to find out if it is real (legal) or a copy (illegal). Yahooooo does not allow a bidder to contact a seller so the only way I can ensure that I will be bidding on the real thing is to use their Question/Answer process.

I can see questions asked by others, and the seller's answers. All of the questions are trying to zero in on the same info I am looking for, and all of the answers have been made on the same day as the questions with a yes/no type response.

I asked the simple question "Are these unathorized home made copies" over a week ago and there has been no answer.

Can other bidders see my unanswered question? If not, how can they be "warned" that the seller has very coyly avoided answering their questions, and they could be bidding on junk copies?

Thanks ...

Your question is only visible to others IF the seller answers it.

How you would warn them? With Yahoo! not answering e-mails, no way I guess.

Thanks mint4you.

Yahoooooo looks like a great place to sell bootleg copies of current teevee series - all you have to do is ignore the "hard questions" and nobody will know!

Think I'll head over there and try to peddle copies of my Sopranos and Buffy off airs

Thanks again ...

You're very welcome RB. It has always been a problem on Yahoo! Auctions. I guess they need to add eyes to the robots.

Take care, Mint
