Just thought I would see what people are thinking. From what I can see they will not change to a free listing fee with fvf. This would allow too many low cost undesirable items (Yahoo's words). I would jump for joy I think if they allowed the 2 auto relists to be free on an item if it did not sell. Only the listing fee of .20, not other fee's that you have an option on. Or even make it .30 to list but give the two free relists. Even drop the 14 day listing option and leave it at max 10. If things stay the way they are I see Yahoo auctions gone in the summer. Overall listings are still dropping. When summer hits listings will have to drop another 50% at least. Wonder if they are even thinking of that.

There hasn't been a lot of forethought, in the past. And recent developements have shown no sign of improvement in that area. They have the ability to turn things around, if they will just let go of their stubborn pride. But then, like a child wanting to hold on to their favorite toy, the instinct to not let go, is to strong.
