I just received a chuckle this morning in my email.
I had an auction close Sun and the buyer responded to my email within 30minutes. She said that she had sold something herself that night and was waiting to see if they were going to pay her with PP. If they did, she would PP me, but it would be Mon before she knew for sure. OK, that's fine by me.
Well, I haven't heard from her since, until this morning, when I got this from her:
"I seem to be having trouble making contact with my buyer to see when and how they are going to pay me. Since I can't pay you until I get paid, I'm not real sure when that will be."
I am so tempted to email her back:
"Sorry to hear you are having trouble getting paid, I sympathize. It is very disheartning to NOT get paid in a timely manner, especially when you really need it!"
Of course, it probably would whish right past her. Oh well, I guess she's expecting me to wait the 10days that's required for her to file her NPB and then wait another 10 days for her to escalate it so that perhaps she'll actually get paid and then she can pay me!!!
From the tone of her email, IF she doesn't get paid, I don't get paid and that doesn't seem to be unreasonable to her at all!
