Wow, just browsed the book section for the first time in a couple of weeks. what a ghost town..

CAgrrl, you mentioned in another thread about some recent sales. Was that your books?

About 2 weeks ago a batch of mine closed with no bids, and I went on to sell them on ebay. It's hard to whip up enthusiasm to keep trying. But the signs are so clear: in the absence of competition, ebay is just raising more and more fees.

One of my recent Yahoo sales was a stack of kid's books. Most of the stuff I've been selling on Yahoo is my usual played-with Barbie dolls though.

I haven't been focusing on buying books for resale. If I happen to come across some books that I know will sell well then I'll buy them, and I'm also still re-selling the books that I bought for my own reading and have finished with. I've been mostly listing them in lots on Ebay, but now that you mention it maybe I'll list a stack or 2 of books on Yahoo just to see what happens.

I have been listing approx 1 auction at Yahoo for every 10 I list on Ebay and so far my Yahoo auctions are selling better, not to mention faster, but I guess you can't compare books and Barbies.
