"CALIFORNIA AUCTION DREAM'IN"
ALL THE AUCTIONS ARE GONE, AND THE C.E.O. LEFT. I'VE BEEN ALL OVER THE INTERNET ON
A WINTER DAY. I BE SAFE AND WARM, IF I WASEN'T IN L.A. CALIFORNIA AUCTION DREAM'IN
ON A WINTER'S DAY.
STOP INTO A CHURCH, I'D PASS ALONG THE WAY, I GOT DOWN ON MY KNEE'S, AND ASKED GOD WHY ?
HE SAID MY SON, I CREATE, AND MAN MESSES THINGS UP, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH YOU ALL ???
I SAID GOD, LET'S START OUR OWN INTERNET AUCTION HOUSE, AND CALL IT HEAVEN'S GATES !!!
GOD SAID I AM TOO BUSY, I AM DEALING WITH ALL THE INTERNET AUCTION HOUSE C.E.O.'S WHO RESIGNED, AND SHOWING THEIR LIFE BEFORE THEM RIGHT NOW AS THEY COME INTO MY GATES !!!

Barry McGuire's Eve of Destruction
Hate your next-door neighbor, but don't forget to say grace,
An' tell me, over and over and over again, my friend,
You don't believe we're on the eve of destruction,
No, no, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

I dont understand. Like twelvepole said, things have gotten better at yahoo. Perhaps all the successful ones are not posting for they are too busy with their closing auctions?

"ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!"
I must admit, the demise of Yahoo forced me back to eBay where actually we are doing tremendously in spite of their high fees and selling many high end pieces which would never have sold on Yahoo.
Yahoo's disintegration also forced me to retest AuctionAddict which has been doing well for us, and we also found a niche auction which handles all we need in a specialty site.
I miss Yahoo (the old Yahoo) but I can't cry for a bunch of deceptive crooks.

When the listing fees where first announced:
"I see a bad moon a-rising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today
Don't go 'round tonight
It's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise"
