I still am not sure whats the point to this. Like twelvepole said, with the junks being gone in Yahoo, business is thriving, bidders are getitng bigger and bigge,r they are finding stuff they want without going through the junks, and sellers are finding a much higher success rate. I say keep going yahoo!

Please provide links to support your comments that Yahoo!Auctions is thriving and growing.
Now before you do that go over to another of AuctionWatch's forums:
Message Center > AuctionWatch.com Services > Auction Manager
I think people are still going to Yahoo out of habit. Once the selection stays down it will be impractical for them to do so. They will return to eBay or look elsewhere. Half the fun of shopping the auctions was to stumble across the excellent buy you couldn't live without. And how many of these bidders are regular buyers of a certain sellers item? Of course they are shopping on Yahoo if that's where the seller is still located.
How many auction sites have fallen by the wayside because of lack of traffic? I can think of several that had a few sellers listing and they had great deals. I even bought some stuff myself but after awhile it's more hassle to go look than it's worth.

I find it quite amazing the shift in listings since the implementation of fees. The UK Yahoo Auctions is still free, as far as I know.
In the UK site, there are currently 1362 listings for a search on "pokemon". In the US listings, there are 968.
For comparison, in the UK site:
Antiques, Art, & Collectibles > Miscellaneous > Postcards - 971
Antiques, Art, & Collectibles > Miscellaneous > Maps - 7
Computers > Software > PC - 4618
Entertainment > Movies > DVD - 4352
Entertainment > Music > CDs - 23253
Sad, when the UK tops the US listings... how long before they put fees into the non-US sites?
In what categories is business thriving? The main categories I sell in the bid percentage is 1/3 greater than it was before the fees. The problem is that there is less than 1/10 as many listings. Do the math....

Ironking and Twelvepole, just post to rattle people cages. They have never posted any facts just statements aimed at "stirring the pot". Show us the facts.
I know. Asked ironking for some links to back up his assertions in two threads yesterday. Of course, nothing from ironking, not a single follow-up, ZILCH.
