I have had another Deadbeat bid and back out
as soon as they use the "purchase now" feature. They then sent threating email saying if I didn't leave postive feedback they would leave negitive. Well I of course left negative for the deadbeat and they retalatated. This doesn't brother me so much but on Ebay I would notify any sellers of this deadbeat to give them a chance to cancel the persons bids. I cannot find a way to check on their current bids to notify the seller. Does anyone have a way to do so with Yahoo.

First of all 3 years ago I got kicked off ePay for doing just what you claim to have done...warning customers about a deadbeat seller. I had pix of what he sold me along with his fraudulent description..
When he complained to epay they cancelled all my auctions without any communication and took a week to respond to my many emails. They said there was nothing they could do about my being defrauded but what I did was "interferring with a current auction." which was punishable by death.
Yahoo has similar wording in their TOS so forget about it. Also, ePay recently quit giving out email addresses. You can email another bidder, but the email goes through their computer and you don't get to see where it's going. Obviously, their computer scans the message for certain words that can lead to further review of the message.

Thanks for the warning. I have warned sellers
for years on GreedyBay (I have sold there since 1996 and am a Power Seller for what it's worth) and haven't had a problem yet. But you are right, both GreedyBay and Yahoo seems to value the bidders more than the sellers so it probley is not worth the hassel. I will just continue to leave Deadbeats negative feedback and take theirs in return. I use to worry about Negs but I figure that if a buyer sees over 1100 postives and a couple of negs they will understand.
