I'm new to this. I want to start selling on Ebay and Yahoo. My question is: Does anyone know if the same buers from Ebay go to Yahoo and vice versa. I have duplicates and would like to put them on simultaneosly on both sites. Any input and suggestions is appreciated.

The obvious thing to check regardless of site is the closed auctions lists. That tells you if particular items are selling and how much (or little ) they are going for. I think eBay shows the last 30 days results and Yahoo's goes 90 days. The biggest difference is Yahoo shows only the items that sold but eBay shows all. Obviously all is a much better indicator to judge demand, seeing how many sold of how many listed. My advice is to start by researching this before you risk any listing fees anywhere.

Well before Yahoo committed suicide, I sold on both, and sold duplicate items and didn't have any problem doing so. I no longer list on Yahoo since the endless problems and TOS cancellation of auctions.

I hope that helps.
