I just received this e-mail from YAHOO - it clarifies that YAHOO allows links to websites.

Just a friendly reminder that Yahoo! Auctions does allow sellers to link from their auctions booth pages to their websites. If you need any help with this
business-driving functionality, shoot us an email.

I don't think Yahoo ever had a problem with links to websites.

I had a link to my site in every single add I ever wrote (when I remembered to)

They did however had a problem with disgruntled folks who went so far as to place Bidville Auction banners and links in their adds with their Yahoo Sucks I'm going to Bidville in large bold type listings.

they may say that but try it and you will get your auctions CANCELED without warning.

it has happened repeatedly to several sellers i know and all the support folks will say is "your auction violated our TOS"

they followed the guidelines and got zapped for it...it seems to me that yahoo only allows what makes yahoo the most money.
