Hello. We run a full time business online.
We do Ebay and Yahoo auctions. Our question concerns Yahoo Paydirect. We do not accept this payment option. We do take paypal and other forms of paymnet (check/money order).
We have been getting a good size number of our winning bidders on Yahoo sending us payment with Paydirect (but we do not take it). If I read it correctly, Paydirect does not send out check payments- correct? You can only have your funds sent to your credit card or checking account? Because we are set up as a business, we dont have access to credit cards and our bank seems to be merging with someone else every so often. Does anyone who uses Paydirect use it as a business acccount? Or if you use it with a credit card, how do you know payment was sent to it? Do you have to wait for your statement to come in and how do you return it to your business? Thanks for any advice.

You are correct about no checks. If your only problem with depositing it to a checking account is the merging, you would just need to make sure that if the routing and account numbers change, you need to keep them updated. When you make a withdrawal to a credit card, it shows up as a credit on your statement. My recommendation is if you have a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked to your checking account, use it (if you don't have one, I would try to get one) that way, you get the speed of credit card withdrawals and the convenience of it going straight into the checking account. That is the way I did it when I was accepting PayDirect.
