Well I remember on the yahoo chat they had, they said the fee's will go towards getting better CS, and they will work on answering your questions better. So just out of curiosity, did they? Or all they improved was the CS's pay raise? Just wondering.

Well, well. Interesting that this topic crops up now. I just tried to use the ID under which I sold on Yahoo! for months to bid on an auction the other day, and was informed that I can't do so because another ID had previously registered the same credit card. Now, I have only one other ID registered that I know of, and that has my hubby's debit card associated with it. An ID search turned up an ID with had allegedly been registered to my ISP email account, but the password recovery system won't return a password for it--I end up at a screen with nothing but the Yahoo! site footer at the top of the page. After sending an inquirey to Auctions "Help", I've received responses from TWO different "CS" techs (I use that term very loosely), both of whom can't seem to get a grasp on the fact that I can't give them registration info for an account that I wasn't aware existed, nor can they tell me which two accounts are creating the problem or why the third account won't return a password using their password recovery system. One of them keeps addressing my hubby (even though my name was signed to all emails), which tells me she isn't reading my emails closely at all. Does anyone have a Customer Service phone number for Yahoo!?

Try this URL for phone #s.
http://corporate.yahoo.com/contact.html

I think I called this # 1-866-267-7946
then asked for customer service relating to Auctions.

My comments about improvement. Since Last November (when I left yahoo) they have improved!. I came back to yahoo in Feb (I think). Anyway.. I find that a direct phone call(even though you may have to wait) will get you a better response.

I once called about the Featuring of Auctions, a problem I noticed. They promised to call me back w/an answer. They did and I also got an email. The issue (which turned out to be a non issue) was resolved.
Good Luck.
