I quit listing on Yahoo when fee's were introduced. I recently have been considering putting a few auctions back up there. What I need to know, has there been any other rule changes, fees , etc since listing fee's were introduced.

No signifcant changes on the rules or fees since January. The only warning I would give is don't include a link to another auction site. Yahoo appears to be pretty strict about that now.
If my experience is any guide, I think you will be happy making the move. My personal sell-through rate has gone from about 10% in January to approximately 50-60% currently. Still seems to be a lot of buyers, at least in my category. The advertising appears to be bringing in new sports card buyers.

Watch links and even mention of your possible items on other auction sites.
Still good traffic on Y but there is the summer slowdown currently underway.

I am looking for an auctionsite that produces *profitable* auctions for its sellers, and by most reports the "streamlined" Yahoo! does that for a great many, however, the advantage afforded to a select group of premium sellers also means there is a disadvantage for the "little guy."
Since there is a single rate structure, the "little guy" is, in effect, subsidizing the benefits given to premium sellers.

I wouldn't list there if I had to pay. I'm still using the free credits from late 2000.
The traffic at Y is a million times better than the free sites. It would almost be worth a nickel or a dime to list items there, items that had a good chance to sell. Not the current 20 cents though and not in the current summer selling doldrums.

On Yahoo you can list illegal items!
When someone complains (like the MPAA, the Copyright Owner, another member, a buyer who got burned with junk home made copies, etc.), Yahoo will stand behind you and tell the complainer to take a hike. If the complainer happens to be a member who got burned, Yahoo will simply suspend that member buyer's priviledges.
Doesn't get any better than that ... if you're a bootlegger or video/CD/VCD/DVD/software pirate

The major changes were in April all adult items were banned and in May event ticket sales were severely restricted in accordance with individual states laws. No changes yet to fees other than adding optionals like Showcase. When a Showcase starts it's posted on the Announcement Board so just keep checking there for info.
