I'm new at this, and a know all too well that a few bad apples can spoil the whole bushel. I have been taken for granted two times. I feel that some of these people selling are preying on inexperienced, fresh people like myself. This is how they are making their living. They collect the checks at the other end and live happy ever after.
Is there a forum or a buyer beware area where I can go. How can I find true auction sellers that I can trust?

Check their feedback. On their auction page, beside their name, is a number in parentheses. Click on that and their feedback will come up. Click on the minus number and you will see any complaints posted about them.

Read these carefully to see if there really is a problem such as not sending items, or if they are just 'pay back' negatives because the seller gave the buyer a negative for non payment. Yahoo buyers are prone to do that.

This is the most reliable way to find out about a seller, and Yahoo is better than Ebay. Ebay sellers are so afraid of payback negatives that they don't post non payment negatives for buyers.
