In light of the recent post by Auction Watch- Subject: New Message Center Format
I thought I'd remind everyone that there is Yahoo Auction help available.
Some may find it helpful and some will not but hey - atleast you don't have to pay for it and you don't have to give your personal credit card information to interact with fellow auction buyers/sellers. Go to Yahoo Auctions. Click the Site Map (right side) and look for user-to-user help.
It's not a message board like this format but it is a place to ask questions and get advice and if you read the old posts you might learn things The yahoo experts are NOT yahoo employees. I've been able talk to many of them and they are professional and want more than anything to help people with yahoo auctions.
Personal comment: I really don't see how giving my credit card # to Auction Watch is going to prevent abuse on the boards. I never abused the boards anyway and if anything the moderators were wonderful. I remember them cleaning up a post that I had started about yahoo auctions. Someone else came in and started talking nonsense about another auction site. Well - the moderator got everyone back on the right track.
Anyway, I respect Auction Watch's decision because it is their company and they can run it anyway they wish. That's the beauty of having your own company.
