When you remotely launch auctions to yahoo the thumb nails for view photos only will not show up they never have in the three years I can remember.
Yahoo is working on there auction software so that templet will work on listing maybe it will solve the thumb nail problem as well.
to get your thumb nail to show up you have to upload picture at yahoo.

I used Yahoo's software (Seller's Manager)for the first time yesterday to create and upload auctions and images. I didn't encounter any problems and the thumbnails are showing up fine in search.

In order for your pics to show in the thumb gallery, YOU MUST upload the pic DIRECTLY from your HD to YAHOO!!
Sooo...I launch my auctions WITHOUT pics & then goto the YAHOO auction losting & "EDIT" & upload the pic then!

I have just started to list on Yahoo-dy-do also...my head is just spinning...I gathered up a batch with AW to upload into my YAHOO Auctions...WELL needless to say they didn't go...Got that fixed, YIPPY THEY LOADED. Now my Pictures are NOT showing up in the Gallery when I do a search for my items!
So I guess using AW to upload YAHOO Auctions is not going to work...without having to go and edit each Auction after it gets uploaded just to fix the picture problem....WHAT A MESS!

Flickiton: Another solution is to load the auctions and photos using Yahoo's Seller's Manager software. One advantage is that Yahoo hosts up to three photos for free so you will save money. The disadvantage is that the software does not many of the features that the AW service has.

Thanks Irene, I solved the Pic. Problem...now I have two other concerns with Yahoo-dy-doo!
1. The listings I sent through AW I had a counter added...when I track in AW my Counter says only 5 hits, when I check the listing itself it says it has 60 page hits! Is there a problem tracking hits with AW also??
2. I also went to Paypal and had their automatic link/banner added to my Yahoo Auctions. When I view the Auctions the link is all Jumbled with Hyper-language. Is there a problem with Yahoo accepting Paypal's Auto-Link???
Auction Watch's Storefront banner shows up fine!
I would ask these questions on the Yahoo Boards...but I thought I'd get quicker answers here. I just don't have time hunting down all of Yahoo's avenues at the moment ;o)
Again..any expertice on these matters will be greatly appreciated.

Carolyn, I noticed the counter thing too - On another site the moderators told me that Yahoo counts a hit everytime your page is included in a search result instead of an actual visit. AW counts page visits. Ive just started selling on Yahoo after 1.5years being on ebay only. Its is pretty sparse but the buyers are starting to trickle in. Theres a huge influx of sellers diving off ebay to swim over to the hoo - should improve with time. Good Luck
