What is the best and fastest way to put auctions on Yahoo for their free listing day? Should I schedule them for Thursday using Auction Watch with items out of my inventory?

Do you use Yahoo's Seller's Manager? I downloaded it a couple of months ago and I love it. I created a template and now I save lots of time just entering in the info specific to the item. You can create your drafts ahead of time and then launch them all at one time when your ready to. You even get to upload your pictures in the draft so you get the picture icon. I have had only 1 time where it took a long time to process the auctions, but I see they did have a problem over the weekend, so I would be sure and launch them in mid-afternoon to allow for a hangup in processing. Since you get to set the end times by going to "additional options" on the draft you can set them to end at whatever time you wish, otherwise it will be based on the launchtime.

I am attempting to use the Yahoo Auction Manager for the first time and I don't see how to preveiw the auction to see if it is as I want it to be. How can I preveiw the auction before it is uploaded?

It will not preview the auction the same way as Yahoo does. You won't see the pictures loaded and then the text. To preview your text and see how it will appear in the finished product, click on "Preview HTML" which is located to the left of the description box. It will pop-up a screen and you will see the text as it will appear in the add without the HTML tags (if you use HTML). To upload your pictures you just bring up your file where your pictures are loaded on your computer and pick the ones you want. It will show a thumbnail, if it's the right one you hit include. To look at them later (I forget which ones I included sometimes cause I do lots of photos of each item)then you still follow the steps for uploading. You hit browse and it will bring up the thumbnail of the one you have already uploaded. You can keep it by hitting include or change it by selecting another file. Very easy. You will see the filenames of your photo's under the description box.
Don't forget to go to the second page of additional options if you want to set your shipping price to show up at the top under the start price on the actual auction page and you can set your end times and if you want it to auto re-submit. Of course the 2nd time around you will pay full price!
