On free day I re-listed a $25 auction (which all auctions on ebay are $300 to 10K) The auction was listed twice, I had a winner on the second list, they did not pay, as in 1/2 of these bidders -NO PAY- I try to relist and they say NO! you cannot relist too amny times! So, I had the same item closeing in 3 hours, I figure I would relist now, NO! you cannot relist a closed item - Okay. I tried to relist a NEW one, and, BAM! your suspended for 24 hours for tying to list the same item too many times,,,,,,,,, WHAT!
Therefore I complain about the issues in brief.
"Hello auctions,
I have tried to contact YOU through 4 yahoo! address, NONE of my email
has been returned. I was unable to auction for at least a week. I re
entered my CC# which was correct and still had problems listing.
I worked on some auctions for 3 hours while my 3 year old watched TV,
the 1st auction could not relist. The second auction would not relist
because I closed it. I tried a BRAND NEW auction which DID NOT LIST -
AND - "Merry Christmas!" and thanks for wasting three hours for a $25
auction! YOU ARE SUSPENDED!
What is going on! I move 20,000.00$ and more a month on eBay! My bill with
them is average $1200.00 a month! look at the auctions now! same as
yahoo! XXXXXXXX - this was a test, and the test did not favor
Yahoo! 1/2 of any auctions I did list with winning bidders resulted in
NO PAY! NON PAYING BIDDERS AND IMPASSABLE LISTING Pages! I also had
browser bugs with ie 6.0 that had to be refreshed only to work more.
This is ridicules! Is all this hell due to your "just found" free
day!?
Is this a SCAM! I get suspended for 24 hours "conveniently" on a FREE
DAY!
OH! I don't know if I am incorrect BUT, I think the d in privileges
does not belong.
This auction has not been posted and your selling priviledges have been temporarily
suspended. This suspension is a direct result of repeated unsuccessful attempts to
submit auctions to our system. Please review your most recent submission to make sure
that is is consistent with the Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines and the Yahoo! Terms of
Service.
Your ability to sell on Yahoo! Auctions will be reinstated on Dec 07 09:30 PST. You
may still browse and bid at this time. If you are confident that your auction
complies with the Terms of Service and Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines, please contact our
Customer Care Team for assistance.
REPLY!"
They do reply the next day.
"We have reviewed the recently blocked auction:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
"We have determined that this auction is in violation of our Yahoo! Auctions
Guidelines and therefore may not be submitted.
You may wish to review the Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines:
http://user.auctions.yahoo.com/html/guidelines.html
Thank you,
Yahoo! Auctions"
I reply.......
"Hello auctions-feedback,
You are extremely generic with you reason for violation. I read the
entire Auctions Guidelines and see absolutely no violation. With a
stalker I have acquired over the last two years, I am certain to list
by eBay and Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines to avoid any issues.
I believe this to be part of the "free day" difficulties.
I tried to re-list the SCULPTURE decoration after
a NON PAYING BIDDER and I complained to you about that. You would not
let me re-list. I closed a current SCULPTURE
decoration and could not re-list because it was closed by me.
I tried to open a brand new one and then was suspended. I DO HAVE A
DOZEN and I cannot dutch! your site put a 1 and I cannot list more.
So, please elaborate, I don't really care if I auction on yahoo or
not, as half of ANY bidders do not pay, furthermore, the difficulties
are very stressful and time consuming. I only auction at my pleasure
to rid myself of very inexpensive decorative art that seem to be a
yahoo bidders delight (not that I get paid)
I believe you owe me my own free day. I pay you for a service, I do
not pay you for these stressful difficulties. S E R V I C E - I would
not have been in business this long if I had a customer care center
like yours.
I do not care if it is for 24 hours, Yahoo played with a full day!
and, my days are worth a lot."
They reply........
"Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Auctions.

I reply.........
"Hello Yahoo!,
Either this is a joke, your idiots or your trying to give me a heart
attack! I came to the conclusion, not only are most of the bidders
undereducated xxxxxx people, they are running it too!

I am paid in full! This still does not answer the question of the
mysterious suspension on free day!
I will call tomorrow to straiten out the entire situation.
RESPOND"
They do reply.......
"Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Auctions.
We apologize for the inconvenience you may be experiencing. Yahoo!
strives to make Yahoo! Auctions a positive experience for everyone
involved. In order to provide a safer auction environment for buyers
and sellers, we now permit users to have only one Yahoo! ID for both
selling and bidding.
If you have registered for two or more IDs that are associated with the
same credit card, you will not be able to participate in Yahoo! Auctions
with the second ID registered. The first Auctions account registered is
the ID allowed to use for bidding and selling within Yahoo! Auctions.
Changing your credit card in Yahoo! Wallet, deleting your Yahoo! Wallet,
or deactivating any of your Yahoo! IDs/accounts will not affect or
change account/ID access.
To resolve this issue, we will need all of the following information for
both of the affected IDs:
1. Yahoo! ID
2. The alternate email address that is currently on file
3. Birth date (mm-dd-yr)
4. Secret Question and Secret Answer
5. ZIP code (when account was created or last updated)
We hope to have this issue resolved for you shortly. Please note that
once resolved, you will be able to use only one of the IDs while bidding
and selling on Yahoo! Auctions.

I have had it with Yahoo! they don't cover my beeper bill!

I encountered a similar problem, in trying to list a new item, one I hadn't listed before and got that crazy message about trying to list something too many times!
I just skipped it and went on to something else, it was during the FREE post.
But this attitude that has prevailed Yahoo since the first of last year is one of the reasons I moved back to eBay. The other is the market on Yahoo died when fees came in.
I'd post on Yahoo but between listing fees and their attitude, etc., it isn't worth my time.
If they would cut the listing back to FREE, and drop the restriction on advertising one's web site I would post, but other wise, I get good sales at eBay and some very good niche auctions, so why bother with the hostile attitude of Yahoo and the low sales?

From the day of my first post I have kept one item up and have continued to relist over and over, I had a sale and relisted AGAIN! I never had that notice since the first. I suspect that free day had everything to do with the notice. I will continue to relist the same item with the same title and when they have a free day I will do it again, if I am suspended (like I care) I will have my proof!

Here is my 2 cents on the issue.
I too have a few items I relist over and over again. Never had a problem.
That dead beat who didn't pay may have clicked NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH aka free anonymous yahoo sponsored stalking.
One simple click.....even though it takes 3 to cancel an active auction renders your auction item permanently UNRELISTABLE.
If you were to take all the info from your description and list it as a fresh new auction you would have absolutely no problem.
You tried to push an auction that had been neighborhood watched.......
View the closed auction and click neighborhood watch yourself. You will get to view a tally of clicks against you. You won't damage yourself by clicking......there is a send button on the 2nd screen to actually report something.
