I have a yahoo bidder who one an auction on a book. The auction ended 45 days ago. After about 2 1/2 weeks I send a second notice she said she was sending out a check she forgot. I waited for about 10 days it didn't come so I negged her (I waited 30 days all together to neg her) and relisted the auction. A day after I negged her she wrote me and said "I sent a check last week." (you can tell by the post mark that was a lie) As soon as I put it up it resold as I knew it would. This women has more negs then just the one I left. Anyway long after the auction the "lady" did send a check 43 days after the auction to be exact. Now someone else has bought the book and even if they wouldn't have I don't think I would have sent it to her because I don't like the way she has played I waste your time fishing game for a 5.00 book. So, here her check sits, should I a just send it back to her, or b. write her and tell her if she sends a self addressed stamped en. I will send it back to her, C just rip up the check or d what ever you may suggest I really hate wasting any more time on this woman amd I am curious as to how other would handle this, thanks ahead of time. BTW I state in all my auctions pay due it ten days and 43 days doesn't make ten guess she can't add.
Have a nice day
Tracey

yup after 45 days you cant be exspeted to sell, just send the check back inless you have more then one of the same item then I would send her one .
in fact I would never have waited two weeks to send the second notice I allow 4 to 5 days for the frist reply. then I send a second if I get no responce to that one in 2 or 3 days I neg them asking for them to contact me no reply to that in 24 hours and I remove there bid. my TOS say reply with shipping address and method of payment withing 5 days. payment due within 10 days so after 15 days if there is no reply you lose.

I would send the check back with a nice thank you note. saying something like thank you for sending payment, but do to the tardiness of the payment, the item was resold. and to have them remember that the auctions are not a game that people play to have fun, so next time try being a bit more
curtious, and timely.. But that me I'm a little smart butt anyway..
