I did some selling on Yahoo (but havent in awhile) and some buying as well. I also have 2 negs on Yahoo from sellers. I purchased items that were misrepresented and when I complained and they refused refund I left them Negs first. I paid for both auctions immediately and my complaints were VERY warranted so I do have a bad taste in my mouth of the type of people who sell on Yahoo. <sigh>

There are bad sellers on every site. I'm always a little leery of buying anything over $10 on Yahoo because a great seller's reputation on Yahoo doesn't count near as much as it does on eBay and the sellers can be less nice.

Well 2 negatives can affect your rating, people are going to look at that. If you can reply to it, I'd do that and tell them your side, that will give people some relief.

However, if you only have 5 positives, and 2 negatives (3 total) it will hurt, but if you have 100 and 2 negatives it is not as bad.

Why Not?
