I know long ago Yahoo would only allow you to have one auction running for the same item at the same time.
I can not find that in their User Agreement any longer. Now my question is how many auctions can your run at the same time for the same item. eBay allows 10, what does Yahoo allow?

It seems 'self-correcting'. There is no real advantage to flooding Yahoo with multiple auctions now that there are only 300,000 to 500,000 auctions running. The regular auction buyers will learn to disregard the multiple auctions and Yahoo will make at least a nickel an auction on listing fees. There are so few auction categories at Y that it makes little sense to post a lot of auctions that are all the same.
