What is the difference? I see dozens of pageviews when I check at the site, but my AW active only showed a few hits. Or is there something wrong with my hit count?

Yo! Fish-Lady: I believe the difference is that your AW COUNTER is a SMART-COUNTER, whereas YAHOO's is NOT!

I think Yahoo's counters are very accurate. The AW ones are probably poor. There is a moderated AW forum here at AW that would be better suited to answer any actual questions about AW services.

No question that it is the AW counters are the problem. The Yahoo counter is very accurate as mine are always the same as the rubylane counters.

ok tomboy, except there were 2 hits and something like 89 pageviews. I know I'm a bit compulsive, but I doubt I looked at the page more than 10 times. That's a lot of page views for someONE else HA! Well, I take the advice and go ask at moderated. I'm just trying to get a feel for yahoo acutions before I start listing more stuff there. thanks.

Yo, TROUT-BREATH: the impression I have is that your AW counter counts ONLY UNIQUE hits! Whereas the Yahoo page-views reflects ALL hits to the page (EXCEPT FOR YOURS!) -- so, if the samme bozo hits your auction 100 times, AW will show 1 hit, but Yahoo will show 100!
