How do you get the final value credits on Yahoo? I know this is a really stupid question, but we don't seem to be able to find the answer anywhere - and we've been having enough deadbeats on larger items lately that it matters.
We've filed and escalated complaints, but Yahoo never says those words "credited to your account"!

I'm not sure, but after you escalate the complaint don't you still have to wait awhile and then actually CANCEL the bidder before you get your fee back? I think I calculated 27 days total between when the link first appears and you finally get to cancel the bidder and get a refund.
I learned the hard way that if you cancel that bidder before escalating the complaint as far as Yahoo seems to be concerned the deal is over and done and you don't get those fees back unless you email and email and email asking for them!
Also, if you give a refund how do you get your fees back?
I offer a return policy and although I haven't had to refund anyone yet, if I ever do, how do I apply for credit of my FVF???

Minimum wait is 7 days to file bidder alert, another 10 days to escalate. So the minimum is 17 days. I never cancel the high bidder and I nearly always post negative feedback. I had one bidder that paid my paydirect account while it was locked, I couldn't get in to refuse it for weeks so I let him go. Does that make me a chump?
I suppose you could file a complaint for nonpayment to get fees back I'm not sure if there is a mutually agreed not to complete auction. There's a link in the billing summary to ask questions, perhaps they'll answer.

You're right, the credit just shows up after the complaint is "escalated" - thank you!
I don't know why Yahoo doesn't make that a little clearer, Ebay and Yahoo both are so loathe to give back those fees, they go out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to get the credits.
I don't know what to do with refunds, or "mutually agreed not to complete" tranactions, we just haven't been doing anything with them!
