Bids,

Yahoo has been wacky for a while now since the new Yahoo homepage came out. Thankfully it never stays down very long.
I could sure use an FLD about now.

I am glad it don't go down for too long. I am at least getting bids when they are up. Not enough to retire, but bids none the less. Can't say much else as Ebay has been just as slow as Yahoo for me lately. I think that will change come Labor Day as the Christmas rush should be starting soon after that.

The 'used goods' confirm a sale function is down. Probably rust is the culprit.

No trouble for me getting logged in. Could have been a temporary glitch.

Since the last time I posted in this thread, I still have not been able to access Yahoo Auction by any method other than clicking on auctions from www.yahoo.com OR My Yahoo (get the auctions homepage OK, but absolutely none of the category links work-get that server not found message) then I have to click on My Auctions and then find an auction that closed and is still on my list (haven't listed in months) when that auction page comes up I click on the category link at the top of the auction page and it gets me to that category page. From there I can then move around in that category and it's subcategories or any link that appears on that page.
I cannot get to any OTHER category unless it has a cross referrenced link on the page I am able to get to.
Now, I wonder how many other people are having this problem, and if they are do you think they would go through the hoops I just demostrated above to get to view any auctions?
I have email Yahoo from my primary ISP and from Yahoo mail, directly and using their FB form and absolutely nobody has ansered me NOT even CANNED!

Maybe the Yahoo robots are broken. Since there are no humans at Yahoo that leaves nothing but memories.

Wow,
I haven't had that problem. I hope it is not wide spread, though it would explain much of the slow down if it is.

I just checked my Yahoo Mail and they have a revamped beta out that looks nice. About time they updated the Yahoo Mail.

I like the mail the way it is/was.
The new design is just there to give them more room for ads.
Also, I have Norton Internet Security. They made some kind of change Monday & Tuesday that kept IE6 from loading the page. Nothing but a blank screen until I disabled Nortons.
Wednesday & Today it works again.
If I can't use my security program, I'll stop using Yahoo for mail, although I like it a lot and have the 100MB option.

As I have posted a couple of times, I have been unable to really view Yahoo Auctions or any part of Yahoo! much at all since early part of July. I sent a total of 15 messages and finally received a total of 4 replys. Each time I would be told to dump my cache and try refreshing the page!?!?
Each time I got that response, I would reply and copy/paste my very detailed account of exactly what I was finding while attempting to navigate their site. I would tell them I was using Windows XP and IE 6 each time.
Finally today I get this:
We're glad to hear that you've taken the time to participate in Yahoo!
Auctions. Unfortunately, as you've noticed, some users seem to
experience technical difficulties with viewing Yahoo! Auctions with
Windows XP. You may want to contact customer support for Windows XP to
see if they can help you, and/or use Windows 98 or Windows NT. We
apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Why couldn't they just tell me that the first time around?????
