I was one of the fools that believed Yahoo would be better charging fees. God was I wrong!!!!!!
I stopped selling on Yahoo 3 weeks ago, I tried to access my account to bid and I am erased. I guesss its OK, but can I say The management at yAHOO are a bunch of mindless, dtupid MORONS!!!!!!!!
Good-bye and die a quick death.

Sorry to hear of your problem with Yahoo. You can try an email to them but the Yahoo robots seem to always send the wrong canned message.

I was in favor of a listing fee but now I'm more inclined to wish that Yahoo would turn their auctions into a Half.com clone with a 5% to 10% FVF and no listing fee. That's a lot better than Half's current 15% FVF.
The auction format is either dying or dead so why not capitalize on the Half fixed price model?

Hey Dave ...

Don't feel like The Lone Ranger ... Yahoo is committing suicide (but too slowly for most of us). It has to be the Number 1 Sleaziest Auction Venue in the world.

Someone is a major league hypocrite. If Yahoo didn't charge a listing fee a certain dumb blonde would be first in line to list her worthless, overpriced crap that she has currently warehoused on BV.( like most other BV sellers ).

That makes Buzz and Deichen both two of the sleaziest auction users in cyberspace!

Spoken like two stupid Canadians. I didn't realize that Yahoo went to BUZZ University where the only subject taught is being a sleaze ball.

If you are referring to me Caffe, I am not Canadian. And I see nothing wrong with Canadians either. Do you have a problem?

You have no idea of who I am or what I sell. Stop guessing, idiot!

Brains aren't everything. In fact in your case they're nothing.

Wow, I had no idea Deichen. Thanks for the heads up on this thread.

Such great people and terrible negativity. I had no idea had become such a negativity site, and it's a darn shame. We should do our part to make it better!

Hello, YD
I hope the mods start paying attention to Bids. He might have to find another hobby!

deichen ... several folks have suggested to Patty that if she banished bidsbids (dimview over there) that things would go much better. A Bidville thread might actually have a chance of going for a day or two without being locked!

But, so far, Patty has not seen the light

RB:

I don't know, but dimview hasn't been posting much of anything lately. Perhaps dimview has moved onto better things.

Like we all should, right?

One thing that struck me funny. If bidsbids and dimview are the same person and you don't post over at Moo partly due to dimview, then why do you post here at AW when it has bidsbids?

Why do you not say that AW should ban bidsbids here?

Just curious. You're still a great person and wonderful human being, either way!

YD ...

Firstly, the fact that dimview controls the boards at Moo had nothing to do with why I decided not to agree to Patty's new terms.

Secondly, AW has the ignore feature - I haven't had to read one of "bidsbids" posts here for quite some time. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss

Thirdly, "dimview" was kicked off AW for the same thing "bidsbids" is doing here now ... starting what are purported to be statistics threads but really looking to shutdown all talk about Bidville. The difference now is, of course, there is very little moderation at AW. This is a good thing btw ...

RB:

I think you better look again at the fact dimview DOESN'T control the boards, at least not even close anymore over at Moo. He even stopped posting stats, and lately hasn't posted much of anything. Not that it matters, dimview's perspective, just like bidsbids is welcome anywhere if they don't stoop to name-calling and personal attacks. Right?

The new terms you state of Patty's are also right here at AuctionWatch, yet you AGREED to those terms. Curious why one place, but not the other?

I never use the ignore feature here at AW or anyplace. It is uncessary for reasonable people.

Now you have a great weekend! You great canadian!

Hugs to both RB & YD ..... You're poor lifemates ( YD may be gay so I won't say wives ) must suffer so with you two.

I wanna be Dimview! He/she gets so much attention. Maybe we should have a Dimview strike and throw you guys into Dimview withdrawals?

bidsbids, nope I am not gay. Thanks for thinking of me though.

Dimview popular? Not anymore. I think dimview enjoys the quiet now.
