Has there been a program written to list auctions in bulk on Yahoo? I am referring to something similar to Auction Submit, which works great on eBay. I have looked at the Yahoo bulk lister and it is cumbersome like eBay's.

I really don't like any of the web based listing programs. They are too slow and buggy.

Also, is there a program for Yahoo similar to eBud for managing auctions. Again, I don't like the web based programs for the same reasons stated above.

Hi Noshill!

Have you tried our bulk loader called Auction Manager Pro? This is our offline tool which allows you to bulk load your items to eBay, Yahoo and Amazon. It captures all the features of the online Auction Manager and more.

For a free download of this software, kindly refer to the link below.

Should you have any concerns or inquiries, feel free to post back.

Hi noshill,

I tried to recommend a product other than Auction Manager Pro and AW took my reply off because they said it was promotional.

So don't expect too many choices.

margot31,

I have tried Auction Manager Pro and it was buggy and didn't work. I never did get any auctions listed with it. I only got timer or sync errors.

Why did you delete the post by NotLeftBehind? I read it before you did. I have the program that he mentioned. It is similar to eBud which is mentioned frequently on the AW boards. In fact, there are entire threads about it. I asked a question and he gave a legitimate answer, you then censored him.

NOT COOL! Not cool at all.

I have tried AW Pro and all I get is sync errors. As much of a pain it is, I just use MS Excel for the bulk loading. I really like Auction Tamer for tracking bids & emails. Until something better comes along I am going stick with this.

Try AW Pro, it doesn't too well with Yahoo but overall pretty darn good. What about the other software like Mr.Lister or something?. I've never seriously used a bulk lister for Yahoo that much. How many are you trying to list at once?.

comic123,

As I indicated above, I have tried AW Pro, and in my opinion, it sucks. Never did work. All it would produce was sync errors. In reading the threads in the AuctionWatch.com Services area, AW wasn't giving much help to stranded uses. So, I deleted it from my computer.

I want to list around 200 items per batch. I wish Auction Submit would add Yahoo to their program. I have been using it since it came out without any problems. And it is free.

I am in the same boat.....I need a simple bulk lister for Yahoo and I too have been unsuccessful with using AWPro, although I LOVE the way it is designed, just wish it worked as well as it is layed out. I know they are probably working on the bugs, but right now it isn't functioning well for me at all.

Well just to make sure, I just uploaded more auctions for Yahoo through AW's Auction Manager Pro, and the same thing, endless errors....

I'm not a dummy, and I was in the beta test for the updated version for AW, but I simply can not make AW work for Yahoo - plus the gallery picture is always missing....but even if you exclude the importance of the gallery picture, I get 1 auction through for every 4 with errors, even though I use the same template I have used directly on Yahoo to post....

SAD....I love the layout for AWMangerPro....just wish it would work.

I sent a request to Auction Submit this morning for them to add a Yahoo module to their program. It appears that Yahoo needs to do something to allow them to do this based on their response below:

Thanks for using Auction Submit. I am glad that you like the software and appreciate your taking the time to tell us and send your feedback. I hope that if you know of anyone else who could benefit from using Auction Submit that you will take a few minutes to tell them about the software.

We are carefully following the suggestions and feedback that we have been receiving and do intend to continue to upgrade the features of the software and add other sites. If you would like to help us sign up Yahoo, please send a suggestion to them that you would like to see Yahoo Auction included in Auction Submit. You can use their suggestion form at
http://www.yahoo.com/info/support/contacts/ideas.html

Wishing you success in your online sales,

Jon

I sent an email to the Yahoo url above indicating that there is a need for a program like Auction Submit to bulk list items to their site.

Hi jwpc,

It looks like AW removed one of your posts also when you tried to recommend a product other than Auction Manager Pro.

I think AW is getting into the realm of conflict of interest.

To me this would be like if Kmart sold newspapers and that they cut out all articles that recommended shopping at other stores.

I think it is funny when a company gets so large like eBay and now AW that they put up walls around themselves to protect their customers from the rest of the competition.

I think a company should just try to be the best and win customer loyalty that way.

Just my thoughts.

NotLeftBehind,

You are correct. Loyalty cannot be forced. It must be earned by positive actions. Deleting posts without explanation are negative actions.

The new version of Ampro works great for bulk listing on yahoo I have used this many time no trouble

also yahoo offers its own bulk lister as well you must add a phone number to your profile to down load it from them .

#1 problem with not listing your auction on yahoo and uploading photos to there server is that you wont get the tumb nail of your items in the veiw photos area only

I have found that if you use auction managers like AW and rover to list through they offer searches and Rove offers a store front that people can see and they end up sending buyer your way from there sight to your sales you might not normally get .

if you use a tool like auction tamer your not going to get this benifit.

in fact I used a few off line non online auction tools and sales and veiws of yahoo auction dropped 99% because most who go to yahoo to bid use the veiw photo only links which your items listed this way wont have

Well dman - I like many others can't make AW Manager Pro work via Yahoo (I do okay with it for eBay, but don't actually need it for eBay) without endless errors, PLUS the picture is not in the gallery when you use AW Manager....as I said I love the design of the program, now it is a matter of their tech's getting the thing to work...check out the complaints on other auctions - they are having the same problems, which is endless errors coming up, but even if you didn't get the error message half the time, you are still missing the gallery pictures and many of my customers use such.

To get yahoos bulk listing program go to yahoo auction and click the option link

JWPC
I have heard all this before but all I can say is if you go into AW auction manager online and just delete all in that account closed and open auction then refreash all there so there is only current listing and current closed list that Ampro will work without errors

I had the sync error and other troubles to everytime I get these problems its usually cause my online account hasnt been kept up to date or AW its self was in the middle of working on there system

as far as yahoos veiw photos only if you list through AW they make up for it with there search here I have not suffered a lack of veiws or bids from not being in there gallery at all.

I have over 100 item listed one any day there .

I really appreciate your thoughtfulness, but it doesn't work that way. I have gone so far as to totally deleat the system from my computer, totally clear out my AW Manager Pro history, started a new....and the same thing...error on 3 out or 4.

Regarding the pictures, most of my customers have never heard of AW, most are novices, and wouldn't be using a universal search....so I have to have the pictures.

Thanks anyway, but the system simply won't work for me....and obviously lots of other folks...

Regarding the Yahoo bulk lister that thing is more trouble than anything is worth...
