Do featured auctions sell better than regular auctions?

25 cents a day, compared to 25cents for up to ten days on ebay.

People complain about ebay fees, I am not one of them however, but I don't understand how a person can pay 25 cents a day either if it doesn't bring about the almost instant sale of your item.

How does the feature auctions do for any of you?

Thanks

There is no doubt that you have more hits when an auction is featured. You can cut costs by just featuring for the last day or two before the auction ends. I use them when things appear to be selling for either higher than I expected, or for what I feel is too low a price, to bring added attention.

The two Im running right now have gotten a ton of hits and bids. However, I have also run features that got tons of hits and NO bids at all. I think product selection is key.

I think it's a good idea to maybe wait until the last few days as you can choose to feature your auction at anytime and it's WAY cheaper than on Ebay.

I actually see some sellers paying to feature ALL of their ads. I prefer to just feature 1 for exposure. A feature sometimes gets 100 times more hits than a regular listing so you need to put an incentive in the the featured one to draw bidders to your other ads. Make sure to put a bold line in the descrip to view your other auctions with maybe a big shipping discount or free gift for multiple purchases.

Thanks for all your help and ideas. I think I will try it out with one of listing the last day it is up and see what happens.
