You may not need this much info, but you can use PayPal for any type of on-line payment there is, from websites to auctions.

And you can sign-up at PayPal to have site approved logo's inserted into your auctions automatically each day.
Only thing I don't like about PayPal is I don't get as many checks in the mail anymore.
I use to take them to the bank and cash them. Gave me walk around money and cash for auctions, yardsales etc. purchases. Now it's just numbers in accounts and I have to use ATM's.
Better but not as much fun as a fist full of checks and MOs that turned into cash. Plus you can't tip a dancer with PayPal.

restonray--LOL!!!
I know. Ain't it awful? Bank account full but have to use a credit card or write a check to mail the mail. I was wondering if it was only me having that problem.
Went to SmackDonalds the other day and didn't have 'nuff cash on me to buy a ice cream cone. LOL!!

HECK NO, almost NO money orders or checks anymore (maybe 2 per week of each)...just a bunch of EMAILS from PayPal telling me someone else has put money in my account. Since I transfer the PayPal money into my X.com account and don't spend it, PayPal has done WONDERS for my savings balance, but it sure leaves me without anything GREEN in my purse (except for last week's bologna that one of the kids dumped in there).
I have to admit, I DO miss cashing all those money orders and paying CASH for everything I bought. Now I feel guilty getting cash out of the ATM machine (or charging groceries on my credit card), because I went so long on a cash-only basis....but I probably SPEND LESS now.

Actually over the last couple of weeks I've noticed quite a fall off in people using PayPal. Its down to less than 50% from a high of over 70%.
I haven't a clue why.

Certainly you can use PAYPAL, and we do and highly successfully - in fact it cut down more on our already low ratio of deadbeats on Yahoo - if someone can immediately pay for their item when they are in the buying mood it helps considerably.
I encourage my buyers to use PAYPAL even though we take credit cards ourselves. I encourage it because it is cheaper for me BUT the fact that they can pay 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and do it when they are in the buying mood.....it works wonderfully for us.
