As per Yahoo's instructions, I created the necessary columns and inserted my data, including the HTML, into the columns and tried to bulkload. But it says the format is incorrect. Does this mean I cannot use HTML? If anyone actually uses the Yahoo bulkloader, do you mind sending me the a blank/template Exce sheet to [email protected] will be much appreciated; also I am unlikely to be your competitor as I deal exclusively in South Asian Collectibles.

After trying to figure out the yahoo bulk loader for weeks, I down loaded the bulk loader from Auction Watch right from their home page. I love it!!! (After making a few mistakes first, of course ))

I use the bulk lister regularly and it works just fine. I will send you my empty cell sheet and you can try it out.
You have to be careful about the context of the cell headings and make sure you name the sheet correctly.

saxkid- besides Excel, what other cell sheets can we use for the bulkloader on Yahoo! ? The cost of Excel just prohibits the venture.
Thanks
Sp -Excel

Haven't tried to use a bulkloader yet, but feel as though I'm stuck in the dark ages since I don't. (still listing auctions one by one like you are, Grapey.) Do you guys who use it feel as though it saves a lot of time? Should I get up off my lazy you-know-what & try it?

I thought you couldn't have the THUMBNAIL photo on listings pages if you don't upload DIRECTLY onto Yahoo, right? So if you use any bulk-listing tool BUT Yahoo's, you can't upload photos for thumbnails, right? Or is the "cell sheet" something you put INTO Yahoo's bulklister?
You girls aren't the only ones still listing one-at-a-time. This old dog's learned just about all the "new tricks" she can handle.

Okay, first about using something other than excel. You should be able to use any spreadsheet that will save the file as comma separated values. So, I haven't tried this, but if you have lotus 123 and are able to save the file as a csv, then it should work.
About the thumbnails. What you can do, is in your spreadsheet under the image name category, use the name for your image, i.e.: "picture.jpg"
Then when you upload your bulklisted spreadhseet, you can upload a copy of the picture as well. It's stored and housed by yahoo at that point. Also, if you have a ton of things to upload, what I do is just zip everything into a zip file and upload that. Yahoo auto unzips and then you can see all the files you have uploaded in the right hand portion of the screen.

Use the Auction Manager that's available on this site if you want a bulklister for Yahoo.
I use Mr. Lister on eBay.
