I bought an iBook in May. And then I pay the seller by Bidpay.com. At first, the seller communicated with me through email. After 2 weeks I`ve sent the payment, I couldn`t contact him!!
I email the Yahoo! staff and they told me that the seller may have changed his email address. And he told me to leave a feedback for the seller to contact him. It`s extremely useless!! If the seller had changed his email address, why didn`t he tell me?
Now, Bidpay won`t give me the money because the money order had been sent out. And I can`t contact the seller. What can I do?
Can I get back my money?
Please help!! Thank you very much!!

See if you can locate this seller and their email addie by examining all sellers of e-Books at YohooAuctions, Amazon Auctions, and on eBay.
Go to your post office in person and find out if they have a package for you -- you didn't state what country you are from, but here in the US, oftentimes a package delivery requires a SIGNITURE, and the yellow slips the USPS leaves to notify you that a package is awaiting your signature at the local post office, these tiny slips frequently blow away in the wind.

No, I can`t get it. I will try to find them from other site. He is a new member of Yahoo! Auction, our transcation is his first transcation. I know his address, what can do with it?
Thank you very much for reply!

Check the auction page & see if the email add listed for him has been updated.
Is he an active eBayer or NARU? Did the email add they show match the Yahoo info?
You should be able to pull his contact info from eBay which will include a phone # (may not be real, but he had to give them one).
Use a search engine to find the name & address of the Attorney General of the state where he's located. When you get in touch tell him you have the info for his Atty Gen & will contact them about prosecution if you don't recieve the item or a refund in __ days. Then follow through.

Did you leave feedback for the seller to contact you as instructed by Yahoo? You may think it's useless to do so, but that's the first step in getting Yahoo to do anything about it. Give Yahoo the information you have about the seller defrauding an ebay buyer.
HOW LONG AGO did he RECEIVE your payment??? Has the money order already been cashed? If not, BidPay can issue a stop payment on it. (Next time you buy something expensive, use I-Escrow---they hold the money until you receive and OK the merchandise.)
If it's an international shipment and wasn't sent airmail, it can take 3 months for a package to reach you by surface, so you can only be sure you've been cheated if: you paid for REGISTERED AIRMAIL delivery more than a month ago, you've checked to make sure it's not tied up in your country's CUSTOMS, and you've checked with your local post office to make sure it's not on the shelf somewhere (happens here a lot).
If you have the seller's contact info from ebay and KNOW that he defrauded someone else on ebay, see what the other buyer has done so far about it, and try to ADD YOUR COMPLAINT to the other buyer's filings with ebay, with the seller's local/state police and attorney general, and the web organizations listed above.
