Good morning all. I am a regular seller on eBay, and am seriously considering also selling on Yahoo. It just seems that the fees are really totalling up pretty quick...and keep in mind I hardly never use the auction gallery or use a reserve price. Can anyone give me some useful information on starting selling on Yahoo? Or please give me examples of your experiences there. THANKS VERY MUCH!!

Well, I pick up stuff at estate sales. Mostly jewelry, but also other stuff. I've sold tons of videos, vintage and antique items mostly. Do you encounter any major problems selling on Yahoo?

Heck, I'm not the right person to give advice since I just started with Yahoo myself but I think a lot of it is just common sense. Consider using the 'buy price' option - that's one think eBay doesn't have and many people like about Yahoo. Consider making your opening bid your buy price (and mention it in the title with something like 'First Bid Wins'). Utilize your subject line - it's longer than eBay's so add add'l information. And - most importantly - make a good listing (this is true for every site). I like to check out women's clothes - it amazes me how often the subject doesn't mention the size. Duh - I'm not going to click on the auction when the odds are against it being my size. Don't do things like putting gold-plated jewelry in the gold section - this really gets people mad. I don't know - just common sense stuff. And be patient - and remember that listing is free!!!
