Is there any way to keep Yahoo from resizing my photos?
I often scan the backs of books or the blurbs on the inside dustjackets, and when these pics get resized they might as well not even be there, because they become unreadable.

Your photo should come up the size of your original IF it doesn't exceed Yahoo's size or bytes limit, and if your three "allowed" images don't exceed 1.5 megabytes.
If you can't solve the problem, try writing some HTML in your description box that links to the photo on your hosted site, something like CLICK HERE FOR INFORMATION ON THIS BOOK. Your link, which doesn't count an an "image", would be something like:
<A HREF=" http://www.your-website/your-photo-name.jpg " TARGET=new>CLICK HERE FOR INFORMATION ON THIS BOOK</A>
You could also use the OCR function on your scanner to convert the scanned writing into text, then just put that text into your listing description. That would eliminate putting photos of the book's writings on your listing at all.

Thanks for your helpful & informative post, granee.
OCR function? I have never seen this or used it. I will have to investigate how to access this on my scanner. Sounds like the ultimate time-saver! Such a thing must (almost) be too good to be true!
