Dang it anyways...I listed a new Auction at Yahoo, and accidently put it in the wrong catagory. How do I change that? Thanks! :-/

From the Auction Home page click
My Auctions
Selling
Click the ad with the error
Click Manage this Auction
Click cancel auction

It will immediately ask if you want to resubmit. You can't change categories on a resubmit but click Yes anyway. That will pull up the submit item page where you can edit/copy your original descrip complete with HTML codes (if you used them). Then you'll have to start over with a new Submit item page in the proper category. You will have to reload pics but at least you won't have to re-type the entire description.
If you have a brief descrip you might want to just start from scratch after you cancel that auction.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can. I think you'd have to cancel it and re-submit it...

Thanks! I did what both of you said... and I did have to cancel the Auction and relist it. I have been a listin' fool tonight and using the one bid is the buy bid method. It is going to be fun to see what happens here. Thanks!

Deee4 - I'm using 1st Bid Wins - please check my auctions for any suggestions you might find useful (I explain concept in my description) and also make any suggestions that I might find useful. Customer buy or pass but never/seldom make comments on the format of listings.

I'm the same at YAHOO as here. Thanks

reston_ray> How do you search for a person on Yahoo and their Auctions? Maybe I should start a new thread and ask huh?

deee4,

You can search for a Yahoo Auction seller's listings by putting the user name in the search box on this page:

http://list.auctions.yahoo.com/show/searchoptions?tab=uid

All the seaches were together on one page (keyword, area, ID, and item number) until today. Now you have to do each kind of search from individual search pages, which I DON'T LIKE, but I guess they have a reason for changing it.

I missed this at first, but ALL the search options are still on the Advanced search page. They took out the seperate boxes and now have one WITH the 4 headers on tabs. Just click the tab for which search you want to do.
