Im surprised I haven't seen anyone say anything about this yet, but maybe you all aren't really using the BulkLoader that Yahoo provides.

I just got an email the other night stating that anyone with less than a 5 rating cannot use the Yahoo BulkLoader.

I know this probably affects some of you who have been toying with the idea of using multiple ID's for listings.

It definitely affects me since I have decided to come to Yahoo here in July and really haven't had any sales yet, more because I haven't had time to get all of my ads together for listing. But now it seems like HOURS of my work to get the bulkloader together have gone to waste for awhile.

Anyone else having this problem?

I understand why Yahoo made this change, we have a ton of people spamming the auctions with junk and advertisements via the bulkloader, but it does put a hamper on me as an individual just trying to crank things up.

Never used the bulk loader before, but might give it a go soon. I'm working on getting myself set up on a spreadsheet now. Still have quite a bit of work left to do there.

It shouldn't be too hard to get a FB rating of 5 quickly. Why not buy 5 inexpensive items? That should do the trick if you're not into the idea of listing stuff onesie twosie until you've made 5 sales.

NOT TO WORRY - you should be able to get a 5 rating in a week. I don't use the bulk loader and run a couple of hundred auctions when I am on the boards (I'm off at the moment as we are going out of town) but normally I do it all by hand, just don't like their bulk loader, and the AW one doesn't put the gallery picture in the correct place to appear in the Yahoo gallery. IF AW's did the pictures correct I'd use it as it is easy and a very nice program when they get this one problem solved.

BACK to the subject - regarding a 5 rating, now realize lots of folks just don't leave feedback, but I've only been on Yahoo a few months and have a rating in the mid 300's. So it moves up fast on Yahoo. Of course I sell less costly items on Yahoo than eBay, but find feedback comes in at about the same rate.
